Welcome to Botel Chat ("Botel Chat", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Botel Chat mobile application, website, features, products, and related services (collectively referred to as the "Services").
Botel Chat is a communication platform that allows users to connect, communicate, share content, interact with friends, participate in groups, use social features, and access entertainment features such as synchronized viewing experiences.
By accessing or using Botel Chat, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and any additional rules, guidelines, or notices provided within the Services.
By creating an account, downloading, installing, accessing, or using Botel Chat, you confirm that:
Your continued use of Botel Chat after any update to these Terms means that you accept the revised Terms unless applicable law requires additional consent.
Compliance & Terminology: Under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, the developer/operator of Botel Chat acts as the "Data Fiduciary" (the entity determining the purpose and means of data processing), and you, the user, act as the "Data Principal" (the individual to whom the personal data relates).
⚠️ LEGAL DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY WARNING: Under no circumstances shall Botel Chat, its creator (Abhishek Tiwari), or developers be held liable for any damages, security incidents, loss of data, harassment, or financial disputes arising from your interaction with other users, groups, or services within the app. You use Botel Chat entirely at your own risk.
Botel Chat is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
By using Botel Chat, you represent and confirm that:
If we reasonably believe that an account belongs to a person who does not meet the minimum age requirement, we may: restrict access, request age verification, suspend the account, or permanently remove the account where appropriate.
To access certain features, you may need to create a Botel Chat account. During registration, you may be required to provide information such as Name, Email, Username, Age, and Profile details.

Botel Chat reserves the right to restrict accounts containing misleading, fraudulent, or abusive information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:
You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless such activity resulted from unauthorized access that was not caused by your actions or negligence.
Your Botel Chat account belongs to the individual who created and controls the account. You may not sell your account, transfer it, purchase accounts from other users, or create accounts for fraudulent purposes. Any attempt to trade, sell, or transfer accounts may result in account suspension or termination.
Users may select usernames, profile names, images, and descriptions. You agree that your profile information will not violate another person's rights, mislead other users, promote illegal activities, contain abusive/hateful/threatening content, or impersonate brands/organizations. Botel Chat may request changes or remove profile information that violates these Terms.
Botel Chat provides communication and social interaction features, which may include: Private messaging, Group conversations, Friend connections, Stories, Voice/Video communication, Watch Party synchronization, Profile discovery, Notifications, and other features introduced in future updates.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available.
When using Botel Chat, you agree to: use the Services responsibly, respect other users, follow applicable laws, respect privacy, and avoid misuse of communication features. You are solely responsible for content you create, upload, send, publish, or share through Botel Chat.
You agree that information provided by you should be truthful, current, complete, and not misleading. Providing false information may affect your ability to access features.
By using messaging features, you agree that you will communicate respectfully, not send unwanted bulk spam, not attempt to access another user's private conversations, and not use automated systems to misuse messaging features.
You must not use private chats to: send illegal content, threaten or harass another person, spread malware, conduct scams, or share another's private info without permission. Users may block or report accounts that violate these rules.
Group administrators may have controls for managing members, removing participants, and updating group info. Group administrators are responsible for reasonably maintaining a safe environment within groups they manage. Botel Chat does not become responsible for conversations or opinions expressed within groups.
Users participating in groups agree not to: disrupt group activities, spam, promote illegal activities, or harass group members. Botel Chat may take action against accounts involved in serious violations.
Stories will not contain: illegal content, hate speech, threats, harassment, sexual exploitation content, copyright-infringing material, or false info intended to harm others.
By using calling features, you agree to respect other participants, not record or distribute conversations without appropriate permission, and not use calls for harassment or fraud. Call availability depends on network conditions.
Users understand that: the feature is for personal interaction, users must have appropriate rights for content they share, and Botel Chat does not provide ownership over third-party content. Users must not use Watch Party features to distribute copyrighted content illegally.
Discovery features include friend requests, suggestions, and matching. Users agree to interact respectfully, avoid harassment, and not repeatedly contact users who have blocked them.
Users retain ownership of content they create. By uploading content, you grant Botel Chat a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, reproduce, and display such content only as necessary to operate the Services, provide features, and protect users.
You represent that you own the content or have necessary rights to use it, and that your content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
Users must respect intellectual property rights. You must not distribute content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or patents. If Botel Chat receives a valid copyright complaint, we may remove or restrict access to the content.
All rights, ownership, and interests in Botel Chat (design, logos, branding, software, interface) are owned by or licensed to Botel Chat. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the application.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. We reserve the right to take appropriate action against activities that negatively impact platform safety or user trust.
You must not use Botel Chat to: plan or promote illegal activities, buy or sell illegal goods, or facilitate criminal acts. Violations may be reported to appropriate authorities.
You must not: send excessive unsolicited messages, create automated accounts, use bots/scripts, or abuse invitation/referral systems. We may limit, restrict, or suspend accounts involved in spam.
You must not: create fake identities, use someone else's photos without permission, or impersonate public figures/brands. Botel Chat may request verification.
Botel Chat must not be used for fraudulent activities (investment schemes, financial scams, phishing). Botel Chat is not responsible for private transactions or agreements between users.
Users must not: threaten others, repeatedly contact someone who does not want communication, or engage in targeted harassment. Reports may result in temporary or permanent bans.
Botel Chat does not permit content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
Users must not share sexually explicit material, promote sexual services, or engage in sexual exploitation. Any content involving sexual exploitation of minors will result in immediate action.
Users must be 18 years of age or older. Users must not attempt to contact minors for inappropriate purposes or share child safety violations. Violations will be reported to appropriate authorities.
Users must not use Botel Chat to threaten physical harm, encourage violence, or coordinate violent actions.
Botel Chat does not permit content that encourages or promotes self-harm, suicide encouragement, or dangerous challenges.
Prohibited activities include: uploading malicious files, distributing malware, unauthorized access, reverse engineering private systems, or performing denial-of-service attacks.
You must not: share another's private information without permission (doxing), access another user's account, or collect user info through unauthorized methods.
You must not scrape user information, extract platform data automatically, or build unauthorized databases using Botel Chat info.
Users must not abuse systems, artificially increase likes, manipulate recommendation decks, or circumvent platform restrictions.
Botel Chat provides in-app reporting tools. False or malicious reports may themselves violate these Terms.
To maintain safety, Botel Chat may use user reports, automated detection systems, and manual review to remove content, limit visibility, or suspend/terminate accounts.
Botel Chat may temporarily restrict or suspend accounts when we believe Terms have been violated, safety risks are created, or fraud is suspected.
Botel Chat may permanently terminate accounts involved in serious violations: child exploitation, serious threats, fraud, repeated abuse, or security attacks.
Features may be modified, updated, suspended, or discontinued. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance or third-party service failures.
You agree that: installing updates may be required to continue using features, older versions may become unsupported, and you will keep your application updated.
Botel Chat may rely on third-party services (cloud hosting, notifications). Botel Chat is not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party providers.
Botel Chat may display advertisements in the future. We do not use the content of your private messages to deliver personalized advertisements.
If paid features are introduced, purchases must be made through authorized payment channels. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
All intellectual property rights relating to Botel Chat are owned by or licensed to Botel Chat. Users may not copy, reproduce, or modify the software.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Botel Chat provides the Services on an "as available" and "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.
Botel Chat is not responsible for agreements, relationships, transactions, or disputes between users. Users are responsible for their own behavior.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Botel Chat shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Botel Chat from claims, damages, losses, and liabilities arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
Termination does not remove obligations that should continue after termination, including intellectual property, liability, and dispute-related obligations.
You agree that Botel Chat may use any feedback to improve the Services without obligation to compensate you.
We may update these Terms from time to time due to new features, legal requirements, or security improvements.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of India.
Before initiating formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact Botel Chat to attempt resolution of disputes.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to remain effective.
Failure by Botel Chat to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Botel Chat regarding your use of the Services.
