1. Introduction

Welcome to the Botel Chat community.

Botel Chat is designed to help people communicate, build connections, share experiences, and interact through messaging, groups, stories, voice communication, and other social features.

A healthy community depends on users treating each other with respect, honesty, and responsibility. These Community Guidelines explain the standards expected from every Botel Chat user. They apply to all activities performed on the platform, including: Private conversations, Group conversations, Friend interactions, Stories, Profile information, Voice and video communication, and any content shared through Botel Chat.

By using Botel Chat, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

3. Respectful Communication

Botel Chat encourages meaningful conversations. Users should speak respectfully, avoid unnecessary hostility, respect personal boundaries, and accept that others may have different opinions. Disagreements must not become personal attacks, threats, harassment, or hate campaigns.

4. Authentic Identity Guidelines

Users should maintain genuine profiles. You should not pretend to be another person, use someone else's identity, create misleading profiles, copy another person's photos without permission, or claim to represent an organization without authorization.

5. Profile Information Rules

Your Botel Chat profile represents you within the community. Profile information must not contain hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, illegal promotions, or content designed to harass others.

6. Privacy Protection

Respecting privacy is a fundamental part of a safe community. Users must not: share another's private information without permission (doxing), publish private chats without consent, share personal documents, or dox phone numbers, home addresses, or private photos.

7. Chat Etiquette

Conversations should remain respectful. Users should not send repeated unwanted messages, spam, or continue contacting users after being blocked or asked to stop.

8. Friend Interaction Guidelines

When interacting with friends or new connections, users should respect boundaries, communicate honestly, avoid pressure, and respect blocking decisions.

9. Group Community Guidelines

Group members should respect group rules, avoid disrupting conversations, and respect administrators. Group administrators should manage groups responsibly and remove harmful content when necessary.

10. Story and Media Guidelines

Stories must not contain: illegal material, harmful content, harassment, copyright violations, or private information of others without permission.

11. Content Quality Standards

Botel Chat encourages content that creates positive interactions. Avoid content that is intentionally misleading, designed only to provoke harm, or created to manipulate users.

12. Respect for Different People and Opinions

Botel Chat welcomes users from different backgrounds. Users must not use differences (culture, interests, opinions) as a reason to attack others, encourage discrimination, or promote hatred.

13. Harassment and Bullying Prevention

Botel Chat does not allow harassment, bullying, intimidation, or targeted abuse. Users must not insult, humiliate, degrade others, or encourage others to attack or shame someone.

14. Threats and Intimidation

Botel Chat does not allow content that threatens harm toward another person. Threatening behavior may result in immediate account restrictions and cooperation with law enforcement.

15. Hate Speech and Discrimination

Users must not create or share content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or supports violence against people based on protected characteristics.

16. Sexual Content and Safety Rules

Botel Chat is a communication platform and not a place for explicit sexual content. Users must not share sexually explicit material, send unwanted sexual messages, or promote sexual services.

17. Non-Consensual Intimate Content

Sharing private or intimate content of another person without their permission is strictly prohibited. Accounts involved in blackmail or revenge porn will be permanently removed.

18. Child Safety Standards

Botel Chat requires users to be 18 years of age or older. Any content involving child exploitation will result in immediate account restrictions, content removal, and reporting to legal authorities.

Botel Chat must not be used to facilitate illegal activities, promote illegal goods/services, or organize criminal actions.

20. Fraud, Scams and Deceptive Practices

Prohibited activities include: fake investment schemes, financial scams, phishing, identity theft, or requests for sensitive financial details.

21. Spam and Unwanted Activities

Users must not send bulk unwanted messages, create automated accounts, use bots to interact, or abuse referral/reward programs.

22. Fake Accounts and Impersonation

Users must not create fake profiles, use stolen photos, or pretend to represent official organizations.

23. Violence and Dangerous Activities

Botel Chat does not allow content that encourages real-world physical harm, coordinate violent actions, or coordinate harmful activities.

24. Self-Harm and Suicide Related Content

Botel Chat does not allow content that encourages or promotes self-harm or suicide. If someone is in distress, users are encouraged to respond with care.

25. Dangerous Challenges and Harmful Trends

Users must not promote challenges or trends that encourage physical harm, dangerous behavior, or serious health risks.

26. Malware, Hacking and Security Abuse

Prohibited actions include: sending malicious files, exploiting security vulnerabilities, attempting to steal accounts, or performing DoS attacks.

27. Our Approach to Content Moderation

To protect users, we may review reported content, accounts, and activities. Moderation decisions consider context, severity, frequency, and safety impact.

28. Reporting Violations

Users may report: harassment, bullying, fake accounts, impersonation, spam, scams, or privacy violations using in-app reporting tools.

29. False or Misleading Reports

Users must not submit intentionally false reports or abuse reporting systems. Repeated misuse may restrict account features.

30. Review and Investigation Process

When we receive a report, Botel Chat reviews details, account history, and context to determine if content removal or restrictions are required.

31. Automated and Manual Safety Systems

To improve safety, Botel Chat uses a combination of user reports, automated tools, and manual security reviews.

32. Content Removal

Botel Chat may remove or restrict access to content that violates guidelines from profiles, stories, groups, or messages.

33. Warning System

For certain violations, Botel Chat may issue warnings to educate users. Serious violations may result in immediate action without warning.

34. Temporary Restrictions

We may temporarily limit messaging abilities, restrict posting, or disable account access during investigations or for minor repeated offenses.

35. Permanent Account Removal

Accounts involved in child exploitation, serious threats, fraud, hacking, or repeated abuse will be permanently deleted and restricted from returning.

36. Appeals Process

Users may request a review of certain enforcement actions by submitting an appeal explaining the circumstances honestly.

37. Account Recovery and Verification

For security, Botel Chat may require users to verify account ownership before restoring access.

38. Repeat Violations

Repeated disregard for guidelines will result in increasingly strict enforcement, leading to permanent removal.

39. Emergency Safety Actions

In cases of immediate safety threats, we will restrict accounts, preserve relevant data, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.

40. Enforcement Transparency

We aim to apply guidelines fairly, but some security detection methods must remain confidential to prevent exploitation.

41. User Responsibility After Enforcement

Users are expected to understand the violated rule and avoid repeating the behavior. Bypassing restrictions leads to additional bans.

42. User Generated Content Standards

Before sharing text, photos, or videos, users must ensure they have permission to share it and that it complies with our policies.

43. Content Ownership

Users maintain ownership of content they create. You grant Botel Chat a license to process and deliver your content only as necessary to provide services.

44. Respecting Copyright and Intellectual Property

Users must not distribute content that violates copyright (e.g. movies, music, or creative works without authorization).

45. Copyright Reporting

If you believe content on Botel Chat violates your copyright, you may submit a report identifying the work, the infringing content, and your contact info.

46. Creator and Community Content Rules

If creator-focused features are introduced, creators must follow additional safety, authenticity, and legal standards.

47. Promotional and Commercial Activities

Users must not misuse the platform for unauthorized commercial activities, spam ads, or illegal product sales.

Users must not create fake accounts, manipulate systems, or use automated methods to abuse referral benefits.

We encourage users to protect sensitive information, block suspicious contacts, and verify user identities independently.

50. Community Feedback and Improvement

Feedback regarding safety guidelines, features, and user experience is welcome to help us continuously improve the platform.

51. Changes to Community Guidelines

We may update these guidelines to improve user safety. Updates will be published here with a revised "Last Updated" date.

52. Relationship With Other Policies

These Guidelines work in conjunction with the Botel Chat Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

55. Final Community Agreement
