Welcome to the Botel Chat community.
Botel Chat is designed to help people communicate, build connections, share experiences, and interact through messaging, groups, stories, voice communication, and other social features.
A healthy community depends on users treating each other with respect, honesty, and responsibility. These Community Guidelines explain the standards expected from every Botel Chat user. They apply to all activities performed on the platform, including: Private conversations, Group conversations, Friend interactions, Stories, Profile information, Voice and video communication, and any content shared through Botel Chat.
By using Botel Chat, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Botel Chat is built around four core principles:
Botel Chat encourages meaningful conversations. Users should speak respectfully, avoid unnecessary hostility, respect personal boundaries, and accept that others may have different opinions. Disagreements must not become personal attacks, threats, harassment, or hate campaigns.
Users should maintain genuine profiles. You should not pretend to be another person, use someone else's identity, create misleading profiles, copy another person's photos without permission, or claim to represent an organization without authorization.
Your Botel Chat profile represents you within the community. Profile information must not contain hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, illegal promotions, or content designed to harass others.
Respecting privacy is a fundamental part of a safe community. Users must not: share another's private information without permission (doxing), publish private chats without consent, share personal documents, or dox phone numbers, home addresses, or private photos.
Conversations should remain respectful. Users should not send repeated unwanted messages, spam, or continue contacting users after being blocked or asked to stop.
When interacting with friends or new connections, users should respect boundaries, communicate honestly, avoid pressure, and respect blocking decisions.
Group members should respect group rules, avoid disrupting conversations, and respect administrators. Group administrators should manage groups responsibly and remove harmful content when necessary.
Stories must not contain: illegal material, harmful content, harassment, copyright violations, or private information of others without permission.
Botel Chat encourages content that creates positive interactions. Avoid content that is intentionally misleading, designed only to provoke harm, or created to manipulate users.
Botel Chat welcomes users from different backgrounds. Users must not use differences (culture, interests, opinions) as a reason to attack others, encourage discrimination, or promote hatred.
Botel Chat does not allow harassment, bullying, intimidation, or targeted abuse. Users must not insult, humiliate, degrade others, or encourage others to attack or shame someone.
Botel Chat does not allow content that threatens harm toward another person. Threatening behavior may result in immediate account restrictions and cooperation with law enforcement.
Users must not create or share content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or supports violence against people based on protected characteristics.
Botel Chat is a communication platform and not a place for explicit sexual content. Users must not share sexually explicit material, send unwanted sexual messages, or promote sexual services.
Sharing private or intimate content of another person without their permission is strictly prohibited. Accounts involved in blackmail or revenge porn will be permanently removed.
Botel Chat requires users to be 18 years of age or older. Any content involving child exploitation will result in immediate account restrictions, content removal, and reporting to legal authorities.
Botel Chat must not be used to facilitate illegal activities, promote illegal goods/services, or organize criminal actions.
Prohibited activities include: fake investment schemes, financial scams, phishing, identity theft, or requests for sensitive financial details.
Users must not send bulk unwanted messages, create automated accounts, use bots to interact, or abuse referral/reward programs.
Users must not create fake profiles, use stolen photos, or pretend to represent official organizations.
Botel Chat does not allow content that encourages real-world physical harm, coordinate violent actions, or coordinate harmful activities.
Botel Chat does not allow content that encourages or promotes self-harm or suicide. If someone is in distress, users are encouraged to respond with care.
Users must not promote challenges or trends that encourage physical harm, dangerous behavior, or serious health risks.
Prohibited actions include: sending malicious files, exploiting security vulnerabilities, attempting to steal accounts, or performing DoS attacks.
To protect users, we may review reported content, accounts, and activities. Moderation decisions consider context, severity, frequency, and safety impact.
Users may report: harassment, bullying, fake accounts, impersonation, spam, scams, or privacy violations using in-app reporting tools.
Users must not submit intentionally false reports or abuse reporting systems. Repeated misuse may restrict account features.
When we receive a report, Botel Chat reviews details, account history, and context to determine if content removal or restrictions are required.
To improve safety, Botel Chat uses a combination of user reports, automated tools, and manual security reviews.
Botel Chat may remove or restrict access to content that violates guidelines from profiles, stories, groups, or messages.
For certain violations, Botel Chat may issue warnings to educate users. Serious violations may result in immediate action without warning.
We may temporarily limit messaging abilities, restrict posting, or disable account access during investigations or for minor repeated offenses.
Accounts involved in child exploitation, serious threats, fraud, hacking, or repeated abuse will be permanently deleted and restricted from returning.
Users may request a review of certain enforcement actions by submitting an appeal explaining the circumstances honestly.
For security, Botel Chat may require users to verify account ownership before restoring access.
Repeated disregard for guidelines will result in increasingly strict enforcement, leading to permanent removal.
In cases of immediate safety threats, we will restrict accounts, preserve relevant data, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
We aim to apply guidelines fairly, but some security detection methods must remain confidential to prevent exploitation.
Users are expected to understand the violated rule and avoid repeating the behavior. Bypassing restrictions leads to additional bans.
Before sharing text, photos, or videos, users must ensure they have permission to share it and that it complies with our policies.
Users maintain ownership of content they create. You grant Botel Chat a license to process and deliver your content only as necessary to provide services.
Users must not distribute content that violates copyright (e.g. movies, music, or creative works without authorization).
If you believe content on Botel Chat violates your copyright, you may submit a report identifying the work, the infringing content, and your contact info.
If creator-focused features are introduced, creators must follow additional safety, authenticity, and legal standards.
Users must not misuse the platform for unauthorized commercial activities, spam ads, or illegal product sales.
Users must not create fake accounts, manipulate systems, or use automated methods to abuse referral benefits.
We encourage users to protect sensitive information, block suspicious contacts, and verify user identities independently.
Feedback regarding safety guidelines, features, and user experience is welcome to help us continuously improve the platform.
We may update these guidelines to improve user safety. Updates will be published here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
These Guidelines work in conjunction with the Botel Chat Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
We work continuously to reduce harm, improve reporting tools, protect privacy, and maintain a respectful community.
